Bellevue is the Sarpy County city on the east bank of the Missouri River. The name is French for a beautiful view. The 2020 census counted 64,176 residents, which made it the third most populous city in Nebraska. The ZIPs we schedule here are 68005, 68123, and 68147. A standard maid visit follows the rooms you live in. The dollar rows do not change because the address is south of Omaha.

Mission Avenue, Main Street, and the houses on the National Register

Mission Avenue is the old spine through Olde Towne. Bellevue Public Schools puts Belleaire Elementary at 1200 West Mission Avenue, and Bertha Barber Elementary at 1402 Main Street, so those two campuses are a practical way to describe the historic blocks. Several houses and civic buildings on those streets are individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Fontenelle Bank, listed April 16, 1969, is at 2212 Main Street. The Old Log Cabin, listed October 16, 1970, stands at 1805 Hancock Street. The Presbyterian Church at 2002 Franklin Street was listed October 15, 1970. The William Hamilton House, at 2003 Bluff Street, was listed October 15, 1969. The William E. Gordon House, at 711 Bellevue Boulevard South, was listed November 8, 2006.

Those blocks are the small-room end of a Bellevue booking. Stairs, a tight kitchen, and painted wood trim take longer than a bedroom count implies. Say so when you book. There is no separate rate for an older house. The visit still uses the bedroom and bath rows on the Bellevue cost page.

What the census counts, decade by decade

The Census Bureau's 2020โ€“2024 American Community Survey (table B25034) estimates 26,560 housing units in Bellevue. The largest decade is 1970 to 1979, with 5,166 units. The 2000s account for 4,298, and the 1960s for 3,872. Only 905 units date to 1939 or earlier, which is why the National Register houses are the exception and the 1970s detached house is the usual stop. Table B25024 estimates 18,144 of the units are single-family detached houses. A house from that 1970s wave is often one main floor plus a garage entry. If a lower level was finished later and you actually use it, that is the note that changes the appointment. The decade itself does not.

Offutt, Fort Crook Road, and U.S. 75

Offutt Air Force Base sits on the south side of town. It is the headquarters of U.S. Strategic Command, and it also hosts the 55th Wing and the 557th Weather Wing. The reservation began as Fort Crook, commissioned in 1890 and built between 1894 and 1896, about ten miles south of Omaha and two miles west of the Missouri. The airfield was designated Offutt Field on May 6, 1924, for Lt. Jarvis Offutt. The Fort Crook Historic District was listed on the National Register on December 12, 1976. The red-brick buildings around the parade ground, put up in 1894โ€“1896, are still in use, including the quarters known as Generals' Row. In the late 1950s and 1960s the base added more than 2,000 family housing units under the Wherry and Capehart programs. In 2005 the Wherry housing area was demolished so it could be replaced.

Bellevue Public Schools says it serves the Bellevue and Offutt community. Bellevue East High School, at 1401 High School Drive, has done that since 1962. Bellevue West High School is at 1501 Thurston Avenue. The district directory also lists Fort Crook Elementary at 12501 South 25th Street, LeMay Elementary at 2726 Kennedy Drive, and Peter Sarpy Elementary at 2908 Vandenberg Avenue. Naming one of those schools places the stop. Households leaving base housing often book a one-time move-out rather than a repeating maid visit. A move-out is quoted from the size and the condition of the house, not from the standard-clean table. The add-ons a housing checklist usually circles are the oven interior, the refrigerator interior, and the cabinet interiors. Census Reporter's reading of the same 2020โ€“2024 survey puts veteran status at 15.5 percent of Bellevue residents, about twice the share in the Omaha metro, which is the demographic fact behind that move-out demand. The base does not have its own price card.

Fort Crook Road crosses Papillion Creek and the Union Pacific Railroad near Capehart Road. The city's planning study with the Nebraska Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration says the southbound bridge, built in 1973, is closed to traffic, and the northbound bridge, built in 1956, is open but in poor condition. The city's stated aim for that road is a corridor tying Offutt and Bellevue to the rest of the metro. A separate NDOT project repairs U.S. 75 bridges in Bellevue: the pairs over Big Papillion Creek, over Capehart Road, and over Mud Creek, the railroad, and South 15th Street, which the fact sheet also calls Hogantown Drive. That stretch meets Nebraska Highway 370. If the directions you give are Capehart, Fort Crook Road, or the Highway 370 interchange, the arrival window has to respect that construction. The price does not.

Fontenelle Forest and the river park

The Fontenelle Forest Historic District was listed on January 21, 1974. The Register location used for it is 1111 Bellevue Boulevard North. The forest covers about 1,500 acres of hardwoods, floodplain, loess hills, and marsh, and it has been a National Natural Landmark since 1964. Haworth Park is the city's river park. The parks department lists ball fields, tennis courts, a shelter, and paths there, inside a system of more than 750 acres. Winsor Cove, the campground operating inside Haworth Park, publishes its address as 2502 Payne Drive. Houses on that side of town pick up sand at the door. Tell us if the door you actually use faces the river. The patio or deck, when you want that surface included, is the $25 add-on already printed on the cost page.

Which school district, and the drive south

The Census Bureau's 2020 school-district map puts most of Bellevue in Bellevue Public Schools and smaller pieces in Omaha Public Schools, Papillion-La Vista Community Schools, and Springfield Platteview Community Schools. The school name is useful only as a landmark. Metro Transit's Route 95, the Bellevue Express, runs weekdays toward downtown Omaha. From downtown the practical drive is south along the river and U.S. 75, not west on Dodge. Other services in town are listed on the Bellevue page.

What a standard clean includes in these houses

  • Kitchen counters, the sink, the cooktop, and the outside of the range and the refrigerator
  • Each bathroom you use, including a lower-level bath when you say the house has one
  • Stair rails and treads in a house on Mission Avenue, Hancock, Franklin, or Bluff
  • Bedrooms and the living room, plus sills and trim that can be reached
  • Carpets vacuumed, hard floors mopped, and the garage entry when that is the everyday door
  • Beds made when a clean set is left on the bed
  • Trash from the kitchen and the baths

A one-bedroom, one-bath house starts at $99 on the booking app, and a two-bedroom, one-bath house starts at $119. Weekly service is 15 percent under the one-time figure, every two weeks is 10 percent under, and monthly is 5 percent under. An apartment is $10 under the house with the same bedrooms and baths. A condo is $5 under. The oven interior and the refrigerator interior are $35 each. Cabinet interiors are $45. A five-or-more-bedroom house starts at $249. Those figures match the booking app and the table on the cost page.

How often to come back depends on the house, not on a Bellevue rule. A detached house with children or a dog usually holds on an every-two-weeks visit. A smaller house on the old grid can sit on a monthly visit. The weekly-versus-every-two-weeks arithmetic is on weekly versus every-two-weeks cleaning cost, and the general cadence question is on how often to clean your house. The difference between this visit and a heavier reset is on deep clean versus standard clean.

The first visit, and how to book

You do not have to be in the house if a lockbox, a garage keypad, or a spare key is set. Say where the pets are, and whether a lower level is finished living space. Supplies come with the crew. Everyone who comes inside has passed a background check, and the work is insured. What to do before arrival is on how to prepare for house cleaners. Whether to stay home is on do I need to be home for house cleaning.

This service is residential cleaning. Book it on the booking page, call (712) 435-2220, or text (402) 401-4842. The quote form on this page works too. Give the cross street or the school, the bedroom and bath counts, and the stair note.

How much does house cleaning cost in Bellevue, NE?

Online booking in Bellevue starts at $99 for 1 bed / 1 bath and $119 for 2 bed / 1 bath. Recurring service is 15% off weekly, 10% off every two weeks, and 5% off monthly. See Bellevue prices.

Do Mission Avenue houses and 1970s ranches use the same price rows?

Yes. Fontenelle Bank, the Old Log Cabin on Hancock Street, and the houses on Franklin and Bluff use the same bedroom and bath rows as a 1970s detached house. Stairs and a finished lower level change the time, not the rate card. The rows are on the Bellevue cost page.

Do you clean near Offutt, Fort Crook Road, and the Capehart-area schools?

Yes. Stops near Offutt, along Fort Crook Road and Capehart Road, and near Fort Crook Elementary, LeMay Elementary, and Peter Sarpy Elementary are on this page. A move-out is quoted by size and condition. A recurring clean uses the standard table. Bridge work on Fort Crook Road and U.S. 75 affects the drive, not the price.

What should I tell you before the first Bellevue visit?

The cross street or the school, whether the house has stairs or a finished lower level, where pets will be, and how we get in if you will not be home. Supplies come with the crew. You can book on the booking page, call (712) 435-2220, or text (402) 401-4842.
