Bennington is the Douglas County city on the northwest side of the metro, along Nebraska Highway 36. The 2020 census counted about 2,000 residents. ZIP 68007 is the one we book. Pricing is the same across the metro and is set by bedrooms and bathrooms (see the Bennington cost page). Tell us whether the house is on the original grid or in a later subdivision the school district assigns to Bennington.

From 598 students to 4,285

Bennington Public Schools is the landmark most callers use, and the growth of that district is the housing story. A WPA-built school from 1941 now houses district administration. A new 7–12 secondary school opened in 2005. Pine Creek Elementary opened in 2009, Heritage Elementary in 2012, and a middle school in 2017. Anchor Pointe Elementary opened in 2019. Stratford Elementary and Bennington South Middle School opened in August 2022. In March 2025 voters approved, with 71 percent in favor, a $112 million bond for a second high school at 180th Street and Military Road. That building is scheduled to open for the 2028–29 school year.

Enrollment went from 598 students in 2004–05 to 4,285 in 2023–24, across eight schools. The campus families still name today is on North 156th Street. If your landmark is the future high school site at 180th and Military, include that when you book.

Bunz Town, the railroad plat, and the in-town grid

Before the subdivisions, the town grew around Peter Bunz's farm, called Bunz Town, on the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha railway. Around 1892 the Pioneer Townsite Company, which the railroad owned, platted the streets. The place was renamed Bennington after Bennington, Vermont, home of several early settlers. Incorporation was April 12, 1892. If your house is on the older downtown grid, tell us about stairs and trim-heavy rooms when you book. The Bennington page lists the other services in town.

Neighborhoods the district assigns to Bennington schools

The district boundary page lists neighborhoods assigned to Bennington schools: the Town of Bennington, Bennington Park, Newport Landing, Woodland Crossing, Kempten Creek, Anchor Pointe, Stone Creek, Highland Hills, Pine Creek, Waterford, Heritage, Meadow Ridge, Stratford Park, Copper Creek, and Hanover Falls. A Bennington 68007 address does not always mean the Bennington school district. Tell us the subdivision or the school when you book.

In those newer names, the notes that change the appointment are a mudroom, a garage door you actually use, and a lower level that is living space. A ranch keeps the work on one floor. A two-story adds the bedroom floor and another bath. An open kitchen means the counters and the family room are cleaned as one space. Tell us those details so we know which rooms to include. If the house has gone a long time and you want a heavier first pass, that request is deep cleaning, not this standard visit.

Highway 36, Standing Bear Lake, and Glenn Cunningham Lake

Nebraska Highway 36 runs along the northern edge of town. Crews reach Bennington by going northwest toward 156th and Highway 36. That is a different drive from West Dodge through Elkhorn and a different drive from Interstate 80 toward Gretna. Standing Bear Lake and Glenn Cunningham Lake lie to the southeast, on the Omaha side of the drive. Both are Omaha reservoir parks. A house between the North 156th campus and Highway 36 is still this page. A house on the Omaha shore of either lake is an Omaha address, so say that when you book. The lakes are a way to describe which side of the northwest route you mean.

Comparing a weekly visit with an every-two-weeks visit, using the same metro percentages, is on weekly versus every-two-weeks cleaning cost. The service itself is residential cleaning.

What a standard clean includes here

  • On the 1892 grid: the kitchen as its own room, the baths, and the trim you can reach
  • In a school-neighborhood house such as Heritage, Pine Creek, or Anchor Pointe: each bath, plus a lower-level bath when you said the floor is lived in
  • The mudroom floor and the back door on an acreage, where shoes and weather come in
  • Stair treads in a two-story, and the open kitchen counters when the plan is one room
  • Carpets vacuumed and hard floors mopped, including the garage entry when that is the everyday door
  • Beds made only if clean linens are left where the crew can see them
  • Kitchen and bathroom trash emptied

The booking app starts a one-bedroom, one-bath house at $99 and a two-bedroom, one-bath house at $119, through $249 for five or more bedrooms. Weekly bookings are 15 percent off that one-time column, every two weeks are 10 percent off, and monthly bookings are 5 percent off. Apartments run $10 under the matching house. Condos run $5 under. Inside the oven is $35, inside the refrigerator is $35, and inside the cabinets is $45. A garage sweep is $30 if you want the concrete included. Those are the published add-on prices, and they are the same across the metro.

The first visit

Tell us the subdivision or the school, whether the house is on the old grid or in a later neighborhood, and whether a mudroom or a lower floor belongs on the list. You can be gone if a lockbox or a code is ready. Note pets and a gate code. Supplies are brought in. The people who enter have passed a background check, and insurance is in place.

Book on the booking page, call (712) 435-2220, or text (402) 401-4842.
